Important Notice:
Version 2.0+ is only compatible with Joomla 4+. It is not compatible with Joomla 3.10 or lower.

Version 1.6.6 is available as an alternate download for those who need compatibility with Joomla 3.10 or lower.

Description:

This is a Joomla component that allows administrators to display a list of files located in a folder in the Joomla directory. This component offers the ability to add any type of custom data to the table of filenames. There are 9 built-in meta data fields, and the admin can add any type of additional field desired. For example, the admin may add a description field, or an author field, or an image-based field that describes shows a country flag.

The component allows for secure downloads of individual files, by hiding the actual location of the file. You may also allow the user to download multiple files as a zipped archive.

  • Each listing can have its own custom parameter set
  • Option to override all styles via style sheet editing
  • Show icons for file types
  • Add any type of meta data, including descriptions, in the form of text or images
  • Sort by any field in Acsending or Descening order
  • Option to link to the files or not
  • Option to specify a list of file types that should not be listed
  • Option to specify a list of file types that will only be listed
  • Color scheme of the table rows and border can be customized
  • Customize the date and time format to be displayed
  • Specify the list bullet style
  • Exclude specific files or folders from the listing
  • Secure file downloads
  • Multiple file downloads as zip, gzip or bz2
